ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in the south of Chile, I decided to come to England four years ago to improve my English, experience the world outside my country and decide whether journalism really was for me. 

Travelling has greatly contributed to my personal development and motivated me to study in order to understand, write and inform others about events and processes at all corners of the World. It has also been an incentive to improve my language skills, I am fluent in Spanish and English, while I am currently learning French and Italian.

After my gap year, I decided to study at a British University as I wanted to develop my journalistic skills at an international level. I am committed to developing in the area of environment and conservation as these are topics I am passionate about.

 I consider myself to be a determined, creative and sociable person, I love meeting and learning from people from different countries. I also enjoy outdoor sports and I always seek for adventures during my travelling experiences including skiing, paragliding, kayaking and hiking. I recently hiked the highest top in Spain and obtained my open water scuba diving certification in order to be able to dive in different parts of the world.

I have a love of the arts, and during my free time, I like painting and embroidery.
